Turners Tornados vs Aircare Lightning

Aircare Lightning took control of the game from the first centre pass. Skilfully they worked the ball down the court with determination and precision. Their defence players Kate Christie and Louise Morris worked together to keep Tornado’s attackers at bay. However, Tornado’s refused to give in easily with great defensive play from Kirsty Bishop. In the end Lightnings took the win 61-18.

 

Foxton Mavericks vs Harborough Harriers

Injury stricken Harriers put up a great effort after starting the game with 6 players, and quickly ending up with only 5. Harriers Katie King worked tirelessly to keep the ball moving through the court. While team mate Gill Hancock fearlessly defended the circle to keep Mavericks shooters at bay. Mavericks Nat Billington had her eye on the target and rarely missed a shot. Together with Emily Bryan and the rest of the team Mavericks took the victory 83-18.

 

Foxton Flyers vs Aircare Thunder

Both teams worked hard throughout the game. Flyers defence was strong throughout but put to the test with brilliant shooting by Thunders Keira Douglas and Molly Barrow.  Flyers Sarah Stoney was steadfast and strong with great play down the length of the court. Thunder won 45-12.

 

MHBC’s vs Farndon

A competitive game with brilliant defensive play shown by both teams. BC’s Tracey Glover moved fearlessly around the circle attempting to keep the ball from Farndon’s shooters. While Farndon’s Kim Walton worked her defensive magic at the opposite end. After hard fought 60 minutes of play, Farndon won 42-19.
