Snowfinders vs Turners Tornados

An exciting game which saw Turners Tornados take the lead from the off. They were strong in defence with great play from Kirsty Bishop, coupled with skilled manoeuvring through the centre court from Jess Hughs. Snowfinders dug deep and with great skill from their defensive players Imogen Tooms and Tilly Higgs, kept the damage to the minimum. The match finished 30-19 to Turners.

Aircare Lightning vs Harborough Harriers

A tough game for the leagues newest team, Harborough Harriers. The second quarter was their best, with skilled play from Sian Hudson and defender Gill Hancock. Lightning were strong from the first centre pass to final whistle, with great play from notable players Hannah Forman and Emma Hadkiss. The match end with a 57-9 victory to Lightning.

Foxton Mavericks vs Aircare Thunder

Mavericks had a strong start and quickly got the upper hand with skilled shooting from Kerry Arrowsmith. Teammate Sarah Van Nierop dominated the centre court play, and ensure they maintained their lead. Thunders skilled shooters Kiera Douglas and Hannah Forman worked hard to close the gap, but despite their efforts, Mavericks won 71-29.

Foxton Flyers vs Forman’s Falcons

A great game of competitive netball for both teams. Distinguished players were Flyer’s Sarah Stoney and Forman’s Jodies Haines. They maintained momentum throughout, played skillfully and made some cracking interceptions. The game finished 29-23 to Forman’s Falcons

Corby Jets vs MHBC

A competitive game between two strong teams. BC’s came out fighting in the first quarter and from there maintained their lead. They had a strong defence with Emma Wier and Natasha Mackness keeping Jets attackers at bay. Jets defender Emily Sierra-Pendergrast played with skill and determination throughout, and her team kept within half of MHBC’s final score. In the end MHBC’s won 42-22.

Farndon Foods vs Lutterworth Robins

From the first centre pass, Farndon took control of the game with strong midcourt play from both Claire Fielding and Rebecca Smith. Robin’s Sarah Pitts skilfully worked the ball down the court. While defender Cat Hanger caused trouble for Farndon’s shooters. At the final whistle, Farndon were victorious, 63-31.
